New Database – POH Readers Help Memorialize Transformative Rosenwald School

The Rosenwald School program, established by Black educator Booker T. Washington and Jewish businessman and philanthropist Julius Rosenwald, is one of the most transformative educational initiatives in American history. To honor and preserve this significant movement, Fisk University, and Vyllorya Evans and Marvin Tupper Jones – subscribers to Port of Harlem magazine – are actively engaged in initiatives to preserve their histories.
