The Brothers Size Opens at Studio Theater - DC / Aretha in B’Mo

Brother SizeTarell Alvin McCraney penned a creative and thrilling tale of two Louisiana brothers and a mysterious man who threatens to drive them apart. The contemporary play magnificently plays fast and loose with West African tales.

The play centers around Ogon, an auto mechanic, his brother Oshoosi, a recent parolee, and Elegba, Oshoosi’s old prison mate.  At the beat of the drum, Ogun attempts to help his brother find a better life; Elegba tries to keep him back.  The Brothers Size runs from Tuesday, January 2 to Saturday, February 10.
